Did Amazon and others just take it upon themselves to be international shippers, with a magic shipping broker? WTF US Customs should have stringent requirements to license them!

1. Consider the chief mate , et al - work history. CPT Smith of the Titanic had a bad reputation! He was a longtime captain for the White Star Lines, which owned the Titanic before or after they set out. JP Morgan was purchasing Titanic from Bruce Ismay. Smith was captain of Titanic's sister ship, which had severe damage and needed much repair. They probably got a lot of money in insurance. I bet Smith and the group of looters, including John B.Thayer III - snuck off the ship 🚢 using a rescue boat from the Carpathian.

Shanghai is opening its port again (largest city in China, exports 46million tons/yr compared to Los Angeles exporting 10 million tons a year.
